The Juan Seguin High School Cougar Jazz Orchestra has evolved into a distinguished ensemble, offering a compelling musical experience. Initially an extensive after-school program, the orchestra transitioned into a focused big band format in 2022, enhancing its artistic precision and collaborative potential. Beginning in the 2023 academic year, this acclaimed ensemble is proudly offered as a credited elective during regular school hours. We encourage all dedicated members of the Seguin band program to consider joining the Cougar Jazz Orchestra, where they can further develop their musicianship within a vibrant and challenging environment.
